Norm Thompson, President, holds AME M1 & M2 ratings; is a 30+ year aviation veteran, trouble shooter, problem solver, and owner/operator of NT AERO SERVIES LTD., specializing in aviation Coaching, Consulting, Auditing, Training, Salvage, and Repair.

The pathway to this role was most recently in attending more than 25 courses and seminars to sharpen his Investigative and Safety Management Systems experience. Prior to that he spent many years in management for one of Canada’s largest cargo operators, overseeing all aspects of large gas turbine engine fleet management, heavy maintenance, quality control, purchase, leasing, and sales.

After graduating top in his class in helicopter maintenance, Mr Thompson worked in a medium sized 703/704 bush plane company, he later became a senior inspector with a large 705 commuter airline where he performed internal/external quality audits, incident investigations, as well as serving as an AME, trainer, and supervisor.  Mr. Thompson also holds an interdisciplinary Master’s degree from Regent College at UBC in Vancouver, B.C.
